Why Won't It Work?!?

Hi guys,

I'm trying to transfer a ringtone (not Poliphonic), from my 7650 to my brothers 6310, using SeleQ to select the ringtone from my mobilephone, and the selecting "IR Send", and although both phone's "see" each other's IR, the trasfer doesn't take place.... WHYY????

(Same thing happens with BlueTooth.....)

HELP ME PLEASE... :(

i dont know about blue tooth but i tried doing that also from a 7650 to a 7110 but it wasnt successful.i figured that some phones are not meant to receive tones via infrared,only business cards and thru games and calendar notes.

this is because bluetooth in 6310 doesn't accept things expect PC suit and same model>


7650 and 3650 are not secured , it can accept any thing

OK, but why then I'm able to send THE SAME ringtone from the PC directly to the 6310 through the IR port????

i know the exact reason.. i talked to my Nokia dealer in town.. its because NOKIA 7650 can only Recieve files from 9210.. and 9210 From 7650....

but they can send to any phone if it aint disabled... i.e:
7650 -=> 9210 (works)
9210 -=> 7650 works
7650/9210 -=> PocketPC (works)

7650/9210 -=> ANy Other Nokia Phone: WONT WORK... because they are the only phones with an OS.. or something like that ;\
