Hello,
My phone keeps turning the screen off at specific points. When I turn it on the start-up logo flashes and then when I access the inbox for messages the screen goes blank. A similar thing happens if I try to access the games, the game logo screen loads and flashes and then the screen is turned off. At this point I can still ring out and receive calls but the screen is turned off. Often it turns the screen off immediately after the start-up logo loads. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you.

Hi danwood76,
Thank you for replying. I'm not sure if it is the screen however. Apart from the instances I have mentioned above the screen seems to work fine. For example I can use the calculator or navigate through the menus without any problems. Did you have exactly the same problem I described above? But the fact that just the screen turns itself off suggests that you could be right. I would just like to make sure before I spend any money.

The fact is, than display is wrong!

Or chip on the back side of display is wrong...

You must change it...I think display no chip :-)

Screen is goin' off when it show more pixels like normal.

What is the normal? Phonebook, calculator, tones, atc.

It turn off when show startup logo, picture messages, games...

you are right danwood76

Yes I had the exact same problem!!
It wouldn't let me turn my phone on at first!!
I had to try and get the start up logo turned off without seeing the screen!!
I couldn't access any on the menus that had a long list or displayed large graphics!!
I could leave it on but after about 2-3 hours it would turn screen off etc.
I couldn't recieve calls when screen worked either cos it turned it self off and call got ended!!!

Anyway the new screen fixed it!
Good Luck!

Hi guys/gals,

I finally got round to getting a new screen today (used a spare 3210e in the mean time) and it fixed the problem. Thanks for all the help.
