3510 ringtones and logos Help ! Help ! (not serious though !)

I am desperate for some ringtones and logos for my Nokia 3510. I have off a friend a diskfull of excellent polyphonic ringtones for Samsung, and I was under the impression that the 3510 (not 3510i) did polyphonic too. I got the data cable (awful connection - you have to squeeze it to get it to make) I actually have half a dozen I'd like, but they are mp3's. how do I make them compatible with the 3510 ?

Also, anyone have a "Soviet Union" or "CCCP" and hammer and sickle logo's for the 3510 ?:confused:

hello, you can download the songs that you want in midi format searching them with google. Then, like midi files usually are so big for uploading to the phone so you must cut them with "mid2poly" program to decrease midi files up to 10kbs aprox. Once you have done this, upload your songs with polyphonic ringtone uploader cracked or purchasing it. So, have you got any program to upload to the 3510 big pics or picture messages?? 8) :evil: :D

Thanks, evarujo. I'll follow your instructions. I'll have to track down the poly uploader, cant do it all just yet as I'm off to work shortly ! But thanks for your much-needed help. Its appreciated ! ;) :D

If evarujo or anyone else with required knowledge of the above prog is reading, can anyone talk me through it ? There seems to be no instructions in what to do and while I have downloaded all the midi's I could want, i dont know where to start withmid2poly or anything else ! :confused:

Hi Phil K. First open mid2poly.exe. Once there click on Open(O) and search the file you want to cut. When you open the file click on scissors, and in the first blank space put "0" and in the other put "700" and click OK. Then go to file---->Creat Midi. In MAXSIZE(bits) put "10240", click OK, save and that's all. Run poly uploader, select your new file and upload it to your 3510.

I followed your instructions evarujo, but it seems that when i try to upload with Logo Manager, (cant find a poly uploader - free anyway) and it wont save, and I have discovered it sounds appalling and nowhere near as good as the midi - it seems to be stuck on rttl. Any advice ?:confused:

did u take the foam off and also did u click it under the metal flap?

when you take off th back cover of the 3510, there is a metal flap at the bottom, make sure that the two clips of the lead are pressed in and under it - thats if you have the exact same lead - i have one of the originals.
Th efoam i am on about is around the pins, you have to pull the foam off.

Well, thats working nicely now, thanks to you, Dean. But. I still cant get Oxygen Ringtone uploader to upload for some reason. The "write to phone" icon is greyed out, while the others aren't. Got a clue whats up ? Because needless to say, I don't ! :D ;)

Actually, i should clarify that. It isnt greyed out when i select some tune to upload. But it says something about reading from phone etc, and doesnt upload.

I think this happens if it is a cracked version.
