what is the advantage?

i just got my 7650 from the service center. they also upgraded my software version from 4.39 to 4.46.what difference would that make?i know its an advantage but i dont know what that advantage is.

I have 4.46 but I previously had one of the first 7650's to come out so I probably had a lower version and I have seen no major differences...

the most noticeable is the PC suite version 10.03 being supported

yes, you can change the op logo, if you only one provider for network and service. But in some cases there are two different. In this case you can only change the first (network) prov, and the the second op logo stays at the display and is not changable. But with 4.46 is it possible.

i suggest u have ur phone upgraded directly by nokia to avoid any risks.upgrading is free if ur phone is within the warranty period and P500 if not warranted.just tell the people that ur phone keeps freezing or hanging because they dont do upgrading of versions if ur phone is working fine.hope this helps

my friend got his phone upgraded and now the screen save is messed up, u cant see it, he has to send to nokia and wait weeks! My advice is that if its working FINE then leave it, if you do actually get problems then go for the upgrade.
