Hi there, I am having some sort of trouble with my 3510i!!!
Each time I want to download an app / game via wap, I get the following msg:
File too large to be loaded
When I have 381Kb free memory and the filesize of the app / game is around 50Kb???
I have software version v03.40
Any ideas on how I can resolve this problem?
TIA

The maximum file size of a midlet (game) is 60kb
You can't upload files which are larger..
I think that is your problem,
Also i think that the midlet isn't supported to youre fone.
A midlet is build for a special phone.
Succes,,,,,,

i think ur problem is software coz i have an 3510i with ver 4.44 and ive uploaded midlets upto 84kb without problems!
To be truefull the best thing you could do is buy a cable and put them on with your pc.
Will be a lot cheaper as well in the long run.

Hi.
I have a 3510i with Version 4.01, it seems there is a problem with V4.4, so it is not being implemented in the UK at my local Nokia Service Centre.
Perhaps you could visit your local one and update from V3.4 to V4.01 ?

Hi Stephan.
According to a report I saw on the 3510i, it has got "Dynamic Memory" I understood that to mean it shared the memory between Texts, Games and Tones. But I was a bit miffed to find that despite having 535kb left, I could only store 50 texts.
Now we know!

Ok thats what nokia told me first aswell but then i brought that up and got them all confused (btw im in South Africa and busnisess here is DUMB about there products) then later they came back to me and said it has 2dynamic memorys, one between phonebook and text, one between mms, galery, games and apps. that sounded more logical but i have only used 35% of phonebook memory but still have the problem with txts, i then made a huge scene with the manager of nokia head office in sa over the phone and she phoned finland and got me the exact specs here it is.
Phonebook : 500names with 5numbers and 3txts
Calendar : 100-500notes (depending on lentg and type) exm. Birthday with alarm takes more space than simple memo without any alarm
Mesaging : 150txt mesages + 50picture Mesages or any combination
Dynamic Memory: (shared between Galery, MMS, Java Apps) couldnt give me an exact number coz she forgot to ask but i think its around 900KB.
And ver 4.44 is definitely full of bugs, also a big one is with full batery the screen is more yellow and nokia also confirmed this as software bug!!

Hi Stan' (Dzien dobry)
I can only suggest that you visit/call a site that will download RingTones or Games directly to your phone by MMS. But of course these are not free.
Perhaps someone who likes playing Games, or adding RingTones could be of more assistance.
