ok heres my settings for it
open smart sms go to settings
select modem
select speed 56
data bits select 8.n.1
phonenumber to smsc 00491722278025
phone number for smsc (picture messages )00491722278025
modeminitstring ATZ( use cap letters)
prefix ATDT (use cap letters)
port 80
modem /phone settings/com port. just selec com1 then try the test com port button. do this on all com ports till you get a reply und use that com port.
( you must not be connected to the internet when trying to select com port .
also when trying to use the program. it will use your modem to dail up and send. it will cost bit its verry cheap indeed . probably 20 pence at most
hope this helps

There is a software in development for the series 60 phones. It's called Celesta myStyle.

Here is the URL:
http://www.celesta-lifestyle.com/n7650_prod/myStyle7650.html

(but it has been in production as far as I know)

...but HEY - so was 3d motoracer, right? And it WAS released. So hope ... there is (do the yoda talk)!

May the SymbianForceOS be with you,

Oh, and note there is a difference between "flash sms" and "flashING sms".

Flash sms just means it will appear on the recipients screen straight away, without them having to click read or open or something

Flashing SMS is a bug on some models and doesnt work on all.

Geez, both progs send flash messages, flashING messages only consists of symbols be4 the text so that the text blinks and goes something like "look, somebody drunk a lot today, he thinks the text is blinking". You don't need a program for that now do you?

@GaZ_D200: Yes, there are pictures OF the 9x10 but there is a WORKING version for the series80 platform, namely here:
http://www.celesta-lifestyle.com/n9200_prod/myStyle.html

And that's what rash saw.

Logomanager doesnt work with the 7650

Ah, I never saw that page for the communicator, since the link that was posted was a direct link to the 7650 page.

Also.... Series 80? I thought the communicator's UI was called Crystal?

Logomanager is (so far) the only program I know that can save files as an .otb (which you can rename to .ota and use it as a picture message). I doesn't connect to series60 directly but we have a lot more progs for that, don't we :}?

I posted the link in my message. Here it is again:
http://www.celesta-lifestyle.com/n9200_prod/myStyle.html
This is the 9210 version of the program which already exists and is being sold. Looks great, but one little problem... I haven't got a 9210, hehe.

Well, the UI may be called crystal, but it's still series80. You can take a look at http://www.appforge.com/booster.html and download appforge booster for 9210. As you download it - it says it's made for series80. I think it's also clearly stated in the setup file.

BTW: Are the two thumbnails you use from 'the league of gentlemen'?

May the SymbianForceOS be with you,

There is a Java Program that flashes sms (Flash SMS), i used it on my Siemens SL45i, and it worked great....try searching some of the yahoo groups for it....

@ascriba: Doesn't work on Series60, this is a "Siemens SL45i only" app. Tried installing it a while ago hoping it would work anyway but it doesn't.

I tried it right now on the 3650 and still - doesn't work.

..we'll just have to wait for Celesta MyStyle :}

They are indeed :-D Are you local?

Have no idea what you mean by local, but I took The League of Gentlemen off a FTP a while ago (I think it was the whole second season) and had some nice laughs :}.

But I prefer Monty Python though. Have all 45 episodes of them and all the DVDs that came out...

Just don't try too much of the "Special Stuff" hehe.

I've read somewhere... forgot the link..

NOTE!!,
It's works only for Hutch and Orange...

To send a flash SMS, compose a SMS with these contents:

flash recipient message

For instance, if you wanted to send a flash SMS to 9812345678, saying "How are you?", your screen would look like this:

sender's screen:
flash 9812345678 How are you?

Send the message to 8243. The recipient will receive the flash SMS on his screen. The flash SMS will appear directly on the recipients screen, and not in the 'Inbox'.

To send a ,blinking flash SMS, compose a SMS with these contents:

flash recipient message

You can make the entire or only certain parts of the message blink. Simply enclose the blinking parts within "<" and ">".

For instance, if you wanted to send a blinking flash SMS to 9812345678, saying "How are you widy?", with the word "widy" blinking,

flash 9812345678 How are you <widy>

The recipient can be anyone using a compatible handset, anywhere in the world. The sender can compose the SMS on any compatible operator handset, supporting SMS. The 'message' part of the SMS can be at most 69 characters long for a blinking flash SMS.

Send the message to 8243. The recipient will receive the blinking flash SMS on his screen.

Hope... It's working cause I'm not tested yet... cause my operator doesnt support this..
