I have a 3310 that is running. But there is no network-coverage.
When i choose to select the network manually [6-2-4-2] there are several networks. But the one my SIM is for, is "No access". All the others too.
Can anyone help me?

Maybe IMEI is corrupt or phone is blacklisted?

IMEI is the original as seen under under the battery.
What means "blacklisted"?

When your IMEI is blacklisted (or barred) on a network, it means that the network has blocked your phone from connecting to it. when your IMEI is barred on a network you will not be able to connect to that network, with any SIM card you put in your phone.
Some networks share their barred IMEI lists so if you are blacklisted on one - you are blacklisted on all.

but the only reason for barring your IMEI is when your phone is stolen or lost or something...

i have a 3310 with exacticay the same problem.

If i fix it i'll let you know how i did it.

I spoke to the guy i got it form, and he said "i dunno what happend. it was working one day then my brother shoved a screwdrvier in it and ripped the areal off"

If it was a hardware problem, you wouldnt get any networks found when you did the network search.

This is a really common problem in 33xx's god knows why though, methinks its software related :)

have fun :D

Thats truly the Problem i'm having. If it's a software problem, there must be a way to fix it. I've tried to load the .fls the PPM and MCU from a working 3310. I've fixed the IMEI and FAID but there was no positive result.

You tried a FULL flash, of the latest version (Latest version is..?) and also i dunno wtf FAID is, but i'd try updating that too :p

FAID ist some kinda checksum. If FAID is corrupt, there will be no network.

Aye, i bought a flasher cable to fix my 3310 and flash it, and it still doesnt work. I also tried updating the FAID and it still doesnt want to work. I've tried Virgin and o2 sim cards in it. I get a signal for about 10 seconds then it dies.

I've also tried heating up the board, still no-go.

I've got another 3310 at home which works and gets signal, but the vibrate and ring doesnt work. i'll try ripping the firmware off of that and putting it on my "dead" 3310 tonight. If that fails, i'll heat up the board again and take off the PA and replace it with the one off of the working phone.

I'll get back to you with the result
