8210 problem

hi all i'm having a problem with my 8210 the ring volume and message received tone are very quiet and cannot be increased ring volume will not increase between 2 and 5 very loud ringing this is very annoying as it cannot be easily heard, i suspect a software fault of some kind. Has anybody else come across this fault and if so whats the solution any help gratefully received cheers.

Are you sure that you are editing the correct profile??

After changing the volume maksure you 'activate' the profile so that it uses those settings!

thanks for ur reply just tried activating after selecting still very quiet even on max vol setting??????
