Movies 4 ur 3650

Hi,
I've encoded some movies and encoding more everyday for your 3650 .

latest movie is The Recruit from .Ctp Screener it's 2 parts each 24MB,

Encoded by PVAuthor at 56.8kbps video | 12.3 Gpp audio| maxframerate:14.98

do these movies work with the 7650?

Yeah they work on the Nokia 7650 but the whole problem is the memory becuase the 7650 only has 4MB and the movie needs around 24MB Each part , it won't fit :( but i hear some poeple tlaking about bluetooth storage etc if they come out then yeah it would be fine.

but in a whole it works on the 7650 as you have the player etc but you need more memory for the phone :(


i know that 3650's are getting quite cheap on the net now even cheaper than 7650 don't have a clue why but they are , you can find them for £200 you ca also sell your for £230 or so..

hi guys can u give me some help here please, i was just wondering wot is the best encoding size to use? i noticed that 128,000bps is realy clear and 9,600bps is really poor quality, i was curious to know wot bps u guys r encoding at and y?

Smewth: no problem buddy.

Jits: You can never say which ftp is the best coz they all have different weaknesses, strength but if your talking about ftp servers then i would say serv-u is pretty good but there are other better ones. if clients i would only say Flashfxp as this app kills (only one i ever work with anyway)

Illution: No i got the 60 day trial one i'm sure there a crack for it or will be very soon i haven't looked around yet. sorry..

Cezcille: I can encode it but it won't be as smooth as the others as the video quality will come down and audio and maybe max framerate, tell me what you need i can try it , it might be good.

Jits:About the encoding , I’ve tried a couple and to be honest i think 64,000bps video and 12.20 kbps audio and maxframe of 14 .. Video size: 176:144 that’s my setting for now anyway.

I've tried 128,000bps and it don't work on the phone uses too much memory and phones keeps hanging lol

Just a small thing , for these whom download the movies, and view it on there phone please send me some comments so i'd know if it's good or bad etc ? So I can do my best to improve the quality or audio etc , give me some feedback if you like.

I tried to d/l the movies but everytime I'm at 10 megs I get cut off. I'm only using a dialup maybe that's why. Anyways did you just rip the movies from a DVD and then converted it? I have some VCD movies here that's in .DAT format what program should I use to convert it?

one4u2nb buddy,
the ftp server has a limit of 40 min per user thats why you get cut off but if you come back and download the same file again it will resume from where it left off...


yeah most the movies i encode are either screeners or dvdrips...

you can encode them with PVAuthor . just rename your Dat file to Mpg PVAuthor works fine withit!...

Ok I just converted Main In Manhattan using the nokia multimedia converter 600++ megs and it's only 29,000 KB. Anyways how can I convert my DVD's? There's a bunch of files on the disk...?

To convert your DVD's your going to need to convert them to Mpg or Avi to able to encode them to your needs.

since it's some kind of a big step , goto http://www.vcdhelp.com (Best source you would ever want) Check the Convert area for details on how to convert DVD to mpg avi etc....

i have used Amigo DVD Ripper
to convert the dvd to mpeg fet the evaluation version here

Nokia converter converts it to .3gp and it also converts a 6meg mp3's to only 400k. So all my ringtones now are all full songs. Anyways the settings for Nokia converter is either 176X144 or 126X96 for picture size and highest framerate is 15 and audio is 12.2 kps you can also set how big you want the file to be but I haven't tried it yet I just left it at default.... Actually I rip a dvd and it was like 1.2 gig and used nokia to convert it but it was at 70,000kb and my phone says that I don't have enuf memory. May I have to split the file or something how to try it again...

guys/girls,
Today i was cut off from my SP for sharing vilating copyright and getting some complaints from software vendors , so FTP is shutdown. sorry , it was fun while it lasted...

However i might still encode movies , but not so soon as i'm having problems with ISP NOW ! :(

when i use the nokia multimedia converter converting films leave them in a .nim format or summat like that and my nokia 7650 wont recognise them... how can i turn it into .3gp
