very strange imei change l@@k

i have a samsung t100 the phone has been barred by the imei number as default 44796789400044/8 i have the service clip i changed the imei number switched the phone on whilst still conected to the service clip pressed *#06# imei is changed to the imei number i want, ok disconnect from the service clip and boot phone up imei number reverts to 44796789400044/8, i have tried dir imei but doesnt work for me nothing seems to work i dont think it is a hardware problem has anyone had the same problem ?? phone shows system failure contact service, i have also tried the system failure program but no luck, tied upgrading to t108 then flashed back again but nothing i do makes any difference, this seems to be the only samsung i've had that i cannot fix.

Did you manage to find an answer to your problem? I have a T100 with exactly the same problem and I can't fix it. It also constantly states that the battery is charging :-(

ur phone Eeprom is demage .write full Eeprom after that change imei than ur phone will be work 100 %.

just write full Eeprom to ur phone with orignal imei. and ur phone will be work 100 %.

Hi,

A big thank you for your help, after some long hours and a lot of swearing my T100 works again and the IMEI number is correct and stays correct.

One last problem though! The battery charge indicator still constantly shows that it is charging, anyone know step by step how to solve this? I'm a bit nervous to mess about too much in case I get the dreaded 'contact service provider' back

can't get the software to do the job, it keeps on coming up charge battery half way through the process, it won't do it no matter how many times i try, any ideas ??
