No more unwanted calls! BlackList application automatically rejects any unwanted call. Program is fully customizable and easy to use. There are custom rules that can contain persons from contacts, groups of persons from contacts, custom phone numbers, there are selective situations, tight interaction with Contacts, handy log, etc, etc...

Features:
BlackList cancels unwanted call immediately even before your phone starts ringing. No irritation caused by these calls at all!
What caller hears: BlackList makes busy line effect for unwanted caller. Your phone will be always busy for an unwanted caller even without bringing your attention.
Auto start feature: If BlackList was activated and your device was rebooted, no need to worry and restart black list manually. It will be autostarted automatically.
Hints: If you want to decline all incoming calls (for example to be reachable with SMS, MMS only, etc), just select "Accept only list" rule and leave it empty. Then BlackList will decline all incoming calls.

The demo version worked fine....
When i got a call from a black listed person, (s)he got a busy sign from my phone (that's what's supposed to happen)...
But with the cracked version, i get a ring from the blacklisted person, then rejected....
SO, from remote side, one ring, then rejected call....
Has anyone faced this problem?
HOPE YOu understood what i'm trying to say...

as if i dropped the incomng call

i think this is not because of the cracking ...
when u r using the trial version, how many numbers or person or group u put into the blacklist/accept list ??
i assume is very little, thats y the software react faster.
and when u use the cracked version, i assume u enter more n more number to the list .. thus resulting slower response from the software ....
well i come to this conclusion cuz ... even in the demo it rings once then onli reject the call..... when i put in many numbers or names in the list ...
so, just hope that the developer of the software can somehow speed up the process of searching before rejecting calls ... ;)
well, this is just my personal point of view any other reason ??

i tried both versions, the trial and cracked versions, same thing happens... after a ring the calling party's phone has a busy signal w/ the word "busy" displayed. it's like rejecting a call (pressing the reject button on the receiving party's phone).

I haven't tried this app yet, but if this is the case there is really no point in using it....
The idea is good though...

Can it be set to decline all "Private Numbers", or unknown numbers?
That'd be useful for me. I hate answering when I dont know who it is
baste07
16-04-2003, 10:43 PM
yes it can,
it has an accept only also option aside from the black list option

Great release, lvckyluke, I must say. Congrats on that!
@GaZ_D200: Well, it's not possible right now, not in this ver. (and for the unknown numbers you have to check EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN YOUR CONTACTS) Trust me, you are not the only one that is eagerly anticipating 1.1 of blacklist :}.
They posted this on their my-symbian release page:
Hints: If you want to decline all incoming calls (for example to be reachable with SMS, MMS only, etc), just select "Accept only list" rule and leave it empty. Then BlackList will decline all incoming calls.
Heh, if they have to post 'hints' together with the release itself, the fact that this will take some time to become *REALLY* useful becomes somehow self-explanatory, right?
May the SymbianForceOS be with you,

I downloaded that program (blacklist) recently, I downloaded both the trial version and the cracked version. I installed the trial version and it worked fine, I then uninstalled it and installed the cracked version, that's when my problem began, it totally screwed up my phone. In the middle of the installation, an error message appreared (on the phone) and my phone hanged, I couldn't access the menus, the battery meter level was gone, although there was still a lot of battery power. I turned it off and on several times but the problem was still there. I finally decided to format the phone using *#7370#, although all my installed applications, contacts, sms messages were gone, I was again able to access the menus and the battery meter level was back to normal. Everything seemed to be ok, but to my surprise, although I could send text messages, I couldn't receive text messages. After fiddling with my phone trying to fix the problem, I finally gave up and brought it to Globe Telecoms (one of the top cellular network providers in the Philippines), they checked my settings and told me they were correct, they directed me to Semicon (the authorized distributor and service center for Nokia phones) to have it examined. Semicon decided to upgrade my software (the OS) to the latest version, thank god it worked, I could again receive text messages, although it cost me 500 bucks. The software seems to be promising and very useful, I don't know what went wrong, I've seen a lot of posts stating that they have installed this application on their phones and it worked without a hitch. Anyone encountered the same problem I did?

@whipit: Well, that's the risk you have to take if you use illegal stuff, man. It can happen with any app, you just have to be unlucky :P
I didn't have those kind of problems with any app and I had both 7650 and 3650. Take it to your nearest Nokia service centre and have it repaired. It's free, just tell them "it just froze" or something.

Yeah I know, there's a risk involved when using cracked software, I guess that's the price I have to pay for being a cheapskate. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Anyway, I brought it to Semicon and they were able to fix it by upgrading the operating system, all's well that ends well.
Thanks

@ those of you using orange like me.
ring orange up and tell them to deactivate your answer machine
next install ,smart answer and set it to answer after say 30 secs.
activate blacklist and and smart answer and if im right ....
those in your blacklist will get the dead or busy tone and those in your acept list will be able to ring you and if you dont answer cos you did miss the call then smart answer should take i . i dont think smart answer activates if you drop a call so the above should be right in theory........... let me know please anyone who tries it
hope this helps

Thanks for the advice, actually, it's a good thing I was able to backup my phone 3 months ago, that's how I was able to retrieve my contacts.
So guys and gals, don't forget to backup your phones regularly, sometimes we take that rudementary task for granted and in the end we pay dearly for it when our phone crashes.
Thanks for all the info and help.

The person who calls (black-listed) can understand that he is rejected. The sound he hears it's not the regular busy sound. So there is no need for this app. If he could not understand the other party that he is rejected (hear busy sound or BETTER HEAR AS IF THE PHONE IS SWITCHED OFF) would be a fantastic application!!!!!!

Jeez, wtf is this? Man, lvckyluke is the CRACKER, not the MAKER of this app. The program was created by SYMBIANWARE.
