what is a moderator?

Que es un moderador, sino una persona que hace que el debate no se desvie, centra la discusión en el tema y si bien vigila el cumplimiento de las reglas no abusa de su poder, pues bien, lamento decir que ya sea en inglés o español, de igual forma este foro ya es una torre de babel donde se habla de una cosa y otra y se pierde la idea inicial.

Fatal lo de sederick, el foro pierde mucho.

What is a moderator?, really exists in ths forum? o may be called policeman? This is not a moderator, the forum (english o spanish) is a babel tower now.

si el moderador equivoca su rol y pretende actuar como Policía, lo que termina logrando son potenciales delincuentes. (Vaya como ejemplo el caso de los que se retiraron con burlas y agresiones a NokDoc dejandolo en ridículo.)

This would be laughable if it wasn't tragic. Sedrick couldn't obey the rules designed to manage an orderly format. NOCDOC did the best he could to be considerate. When he took Sedrick to task after numerous warnings, ""Sedrick demonstrated his 6 year old mentality"", picked up his marbles and went home rather than obey the rules like everybody else. Then real thomas comes along and posts an url which directs you to a non-functional site which only allows Spanish in the forum. Good thinking real, that will solve the problem. Sounds like you folks have been watching too many "Viva La Revolution" movies.

The goal is to conduct an orderly discussion as opposed to reconstructing the "Tower of Babel" of biblical fame.

We'll just have to wait until more adults show up.

NOCDOC=You did your job with restraint and showed how a good moderator operates. An appropriate response, no matter how unpopular, is no less appropriate.

About some folks you can say "Boy what a mind they have"

About some of you it would be better put "Boy what a mind you

Mr NokDoc v/s Mr Bush !!
El Mister Nokdoc me recuerda al otro mister ..se creen dueño y amo y les importa muy poco las opiniones de los demas.. y si alguien les dice algo, amenazan con sanciones o atacar (vean lo que pasa con Siria)..
Hay que tener cuidado ya que si se le para el hoyo o la raja, puede empezar a cerrar los post.. (parece que ya comenzo..hoy dia)
