nokia 8250 Locks-up, freezes

Hi,
I've tried flashing this phone with many different 8250 flash files with no success, what else can i do? any ideas??

Update FAID! If that doesn't work, Kill the checksums in the flash before you send it!;)

I use Nfader by Al (R.I.P):cry:

Select your file, disable the fade effects (If you want to), check the "kill CS/FAID" box and apply! Then flash the phone as normal!;)

Thats because AL has left the GSM scene. Thus R.I.P its a lost to all of us.

Anyway back to the freezing thing,
I have a similar problem with my 8210 when I enter certain menus will this chksum killing thing fix it or is there other solutions??

Don't be fooled by the KILL bit! It's just the word that's used to repair the checksums!!! And yes, that's the solution 100%;)

hey that kill checksums didnt work for my phone :( some one told me I might need a new chip of somethin can anyone on this board do this? I am in New Zealand.
