Either this is a infrared port problem or you are trying to transfer too big files or wav ringtones. Try checking both the phones with the computer connection using a infrared port so that it can be verified that the ports in both the phones are working correctly. If you try to send too big files to a Nokia 7210 or 6610 through another phone, it refuses to accept them. Wav format files are not supported in 7210/6610 but they are supported in 3650/7650. Maybe the transferer or the transferee does'nt allows such files to be sent or received!!

unlike symbian phones (3650,7650), u cant send files from phone to phone over infra-red connection, the phone doesnt suport this type of transfer. u need to connect the 7210 to a computer with an IrDA port, and use something like MobiMB or Nokia PC Suite 5.1 to transfer files from the pc to the phone. the same goes with other series 40 phones (6610, 6100, 7250, etc..)
