problem with nokia suite and bluetooth

hi people i have bought myself a usb bluetooth dongle but i can't get it to work with nokia suite in mRouter it only gives me the option to select infered what do i do can you please help me:confused:

I had the same problems, I found this on the net it helped me :D

3650 nokia : They recommend a solution from but it's PCMCIA and Idon't want that. SO, if anyone knows of a USB solution that definatelyworks, please let me know.i use a belkin too! what i did as far as i can remember was install the belkinadapter first. then there was that my bluetooth places icon placed on mydesktop. then i installed the 3650 pc suite. then after installing, i thinkthere was a pc connection manager that appears on the taskbar. what i did was iplaced a checkmark on all the bluetooth com ports. after doing so, i went tothe desktop and clicked on my bluetooth places and clicked on the nokia 3650device. Then i clicked the serial connection, of course it wont connect, itwill say that the device has terminated the connection. after doing so, theconnection manager icon located in the taskbar now says that the device is nowconnected. then youre ready to use the 3650 software. i think its just a matterof tricking your computer into thinking that there is a logical port open.

okay here's what you have to do... Make sure that you have installed all your corect drivers for your bluetooth adpater... NOw on the M router thingy (this is what i do and it works for me) select all of the available ports apart from the infra red and the 1st port (cabled).. Now just go to MY bluetooth places and the computer should find your bluetooth device (7650 or 3650)..

hi to you both you mentioned a place called my bluetooth places were is that at i can't find it also i can't enable all devices in mRouter because i only have one to pick from which is infared in nokia connection manager i can select all of them but it still won't find my bluetooth

I use a MSI BT adapter. It works great!

This took me a week to find out and it is for pc suite 6600 for xp. What you have to do is to change the compatibility for all the *.exe files in the nokia pc suite and the intuwave (=mrouter) folders.
Start the windows explorer and browse to "program files/nokia" right-mouse-click on one of the exe files select "properties" and go to the tab "compatability". Here you can change the setting. Set it to "Windows 98/Windows ME". Do the same to all the other exe files in both nokia and intuwave folder, restart and.........!!!!!! It works great here. Let me know if it works for you too.
