How To Lower WAV's file size ?????

Anyone know how to lower the wav file size ? I've seen some wav's size for about 30 seconds and only 500 Kb,is there any converter that convert wav(original size) to wav(smaller size) ? because many converter only convert wav to mp3,mp3 to mid but not wav to wav.Please help !

Well i don't know of any program that can actually lower the size of wav files... but have you thought about using a wav to amr converter....? the quality will be reduced but so will the size (greatly)..

2. Open wav file
3. Select "File - Save as..."
4. Click on "Change..."
5. Select Format "GSM 6.10" and Attributes "22.050 kHz 8 Bit mono"

It Works.....I've lowered the size from 8MB to 238Kb and it's wav format.
