SmartLauncher Question

As much as i love this program, the fact that is says "Launcher" at the top is annoying. You should be able to change the caption or, does anyone know if it is stored in the .rsc files??
i havent looked yet but wondered if anyone new??

Also, when people upload skinz to Schizo, it would be good to zip the skn file along with a "preview" jpg.

a fiend of mine explained me how to change the tag.. :grin:

u have to edit Launcher.ini with an Hexeditor:

1. send "Launcher.ini" file to PC
2. By using HexEditor, open the file "Launcher.ini"
3. You will see Hex value on left side, and char. on right side.
4. looking for "Launcher" on rightside. If I'm right, it will be on the top part, 5th or 6th line, ended with Hex 12
5. Make change on you right side (easier) not overide Hex 12. If the word is less than 8 char. Just fill it with blank.
6. save it back.
7. send the file back to 7650
8. using FExplorer copy it to C:\system\apps\Launcher

then open skineditor and the can be added automatically

went to 18plus2 site, doesn't say how to crack it....just a nfo file but no crack....

I tried to send the Launcher.ini file from my phone to PC but it wont work!!

Went 10 18+2's site but can only find an NFO file.

How do i send the .ini file to my PC? Tried using SeleQ but it just fails to send.

thezip file will contain 2 .sis files.
you can install ovr the old one using the slauncher.sis i think...

then after that install the crack version.

sorry, but i can't understand-i dowloaded the new version of smart launcher(1.01)and
there are 2 SIS files in the zip(from shizos site) and i don't know why?!

and another question is:
i have installed both sis files and have a new skin on my launcher and on it i can
see the battery status and so on, but then i changed my skin in this one i used before
(Aqua7650)and now i didn't see thethe battery status anymore!!

anyone can help me and explain?!

I followed all the instructions, and it still says Launcher in the top...

download the launcher.ini from schizo...its clear. i didnt want ne text at the top so i just took it all out!

apparently the title can be changed in 1.01 - however i havent tested this yet?? can ne1 confirm??

i placed the launcher.ini(from shizos site) in the folder c:\system\app\launcher but at first: there was no old launcher.ini... and the indicators i still didn't see...
what i'm doning wrong?!

that feature is supported! ;)

BTW: i really don't like those battery/net signals :mad:

yeah, i dont like the status bars really.

With skins that have images at the top (Windows Xp/Minimise/Maximise and close), the status bars cover the images, and, i think in the next version, it should give you the option...

and the status bars are not ver accurate...a sms icon would be good too....

Hi ppl. @Schizo, i done the same thing last night! new version is great, but i agree that there should be a choice of whether the signal & battery meter is on display. Also an sms icon would be good.

Only thing, although its now possible to change the caption (eg where it said "Launcher", its NOT possible to use spaces or blanks :( the OK only appears after a Visible character has been used. I ended up send the new .ini file to my pc, changing it using hex, then sending it back just like old version!!

so really, there was no point in me upgrading for the fact that i now dont like the extra batt & sig meter, plus i still had to change it via pc ne way

Oh well, wait for the next version i guess

i have fornatted my 7650 and installed launcher 1.01!!!
but there is no launcher.ini in the folder!!
i have to overwrite normally this file, or?!

but niow another question:
the battery in the right is shown with some lines like standard on the display
but the net signals is only a little sign, without any other lines or something like this, is it normal?!
i hope u understand what i mean!

the signal meters are not very accurate. They only show 5 bars instead of 7 bars (normal nokia meters) and i find the signal is worst for accuracy. when i little signal, launcher shows i have none!!!

i shouldnt worry toomuch about its accuracy

mmmmmmh i can't understand! i have full signal(7) and on launcher nothing, only the sign for it!!
