I was just wondering if I could restore my contacts on a 3650 using the 7650 software suite. I'm selling my 7650 to purchase a 3650, but I have to sell the 7650 first. Once I've gotten the 3650, I want to restore my contacts, but the only software installed on my pc is the 7650 software suite. I know that I could transfer my contacts to the sim card, but to do so, I have to transfer them 1 at a time since there is no option to mark all my contacts and send them to the sim card all at once.

use Symbianware smartVcard

export ur contacts ...then i'll install smartVcard in 3650 and u'll import ur contacts

so easy with that progr. ;)

This is great but will it also save and re send the saved thumbnails for each person saved

Yup! (I saw the coding for thumbnails embedded in the vcf file last time I looked at it, and now I just did a test and confirm that it does export/import the thumbnail as well)

Now this is a great program.. now I can transfer all my phone directory to my PC and I can format my phone.. it seem to have alot of un-usable data file that seem to take up space

send CONTACTS.CDB (c:\system\data\) to your pc but first you have to copy CONTACTS.CDB to another folder in your 7650 using a file explorer (i prefer SeleQ)... in FLIGHT MODE (System Tools) then boot in normal mode and send the copied file via IR to your pc...

to restore it just send the copied CONTACTS.CDB from pc to your 3650...

better yet send it from fone to fone.

note: it's NOT possible to copy CONTACTS.CDB in normal mode.

Does flight mode have any bad effects on you phone?

from my experience - none... but if you have PhoneSecure app on your fone, better disable flight mode starter after using System Tools... i was able to remove PhoneSecure in flight mode.

I think it's possible. can't try it now, just deleted them. but who cares about messages anyway:D :D :D
