Unlikely, unless you happen to have duplicated someone elses imei and then they loose their phone. (Slim Chance!)

Yeah you can still use it if you have used someone elses imei number, t-mob computers may notice 2 (or more) handsets with the same imei but they have no way of knowing which is the genuine handset. There was a point before all the imei numbers were shared in the UK when O2 had over 100 Imei numbers the same on there network and were saying how could they distinguish the genuine handset!!

Just use it mate, think the chances of getting caught are very slim(if any really).

Big Company Can take it, But i don't support thiefs or muggers who attack old ppl and single out young kids to steal phones from them :(
