Hi out there,
Thanks for reading this help msg.
I wanna change Cobba IC from my 3310 by myself. What do I need to do so with success? Any special tool?
Any Howto around ? PCB at sight, MAD pins at sight but Cobba ones hidden.... Is it coz Cobba IC is mounted on a socket and not soldered suchn as MAD IC ? Plz clarify... thanks a lot mates.
Cheers.

Thanks mate.
Ive got a clear tech idea on it. However you did not reply to my straight question... What do I need to take cobba out and replace it for a new one ? Any special machinery ?
Is it soldered to the PCB or is will it be out by simply pushing it up ?
Thanks again for your patience.
Cheers

@otletacla,
Hi,
U need to use an SMD rework station for this job. If u are into mobile repairs this will be a most useful tool. U can ask about this on this forum too: www.telempire.com

One more thing, do you know where can I buy one of this SMD soldering machine (not much expensive) here in Spain or elsewhere on the net ?
Again thank you, mate.

@otletacla
Hi,
I was away for a few days. U can buy an SMD rework staion on several websites. U can even look for one here under the "sales" section. Also u can look for it on the telempire website. Try using a search engine like google or yahoo to find a vendor close to you.
;) :)

Hi,
To Aboayman: Yes audio IC=Cobba, this IC does things further than audio control.
To Trion: No problem mate. Tks for reply. I have already found some of them over here. They are expensive though.... better waiting for some spare budget, je je...
Bye.
