7250 FIA

Hi, I'm need of the FIA file for a 7250 to upgrade my 7250 to v3.14. I'm using ed2k's DCT4 Flasher Pro.

Does this mean that they have managed to unpack 3.14 if so where can i get it from.

Let me restate the question: How can I flash my 7250 with a non-Griffin DCT4 flasher?

install phoenix aplication with the mcu+ppm u want

and copy the fia files that are installed with tat aplication in fia directory of cheap dct4 flasher

BUT REMEMBER - FLASHING MCU WITH CHEAP FLASHER WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR JAVA APPLICATION - EVEN ORIGINAL ONES... BETTER USE GRIFFIN FOR THIS OPERATION....

So with the FIA files, is it model specific or version specific? ie. if I get the FIA files from the Phoenix v3.12 package will it work for the 3.14?

and I'm not fussed about losing all the default stuff :)

nup, didn't work... I downloaded the 7250 v3.12 Phoenix package, and copied everything from the Flash directory (the *.fia and *.bin) to my FIA directory of my cheap flasher. Still says invalid model descriptor :(

u must use fia from same version. if phone is 3.14 u use fia from 3.14 phoenix for 7250.

i did not tested it on 7250, but for me on newer versions of 6310i or 3510i worked

ahh mmmkay... that might explain why I can't flash it, there isn't a Phoenix package for v3.14 yet.

Is it ok for me to overwrite the existing FIA files? Which FIA files should I keep?

copy the old ones in other directory...u will need them for other phones....

So keep the old ones, overwrite the newer files right? Just need to make sure :)
