I know a lot of you guys here were really keen on this matrix release. So ... if someone wants to see it ... here is the bitTorrent file. If you don't know how to use bittorrent, use google to search for a FAQ :}.

Before you download it:

- the movie is NOT hosted on the nokiafree forum (!)
- the movie is NOT hosted on my computer (!!)
- the movie is NOT hosted on my server (!!!)
- if you like the movie, buy the ticket and go see it ;}
- if you REALLY like the movie, buy the DVD when it comes out
- if you really like ME for giving you this info (hehe), um ... dunno ... reply with a 'thank you' note

INSTRUCTIONS:
After the download is finished (please do not close the window - help to share with the community as the community shared with you) - you get 3 folders: CD1, CD2 and SAMPLE. Use winrar 3 to extract the xxx.partxx.rar files. Version 2 of winrar cannot do that. (get the latest winrar at www.rarsoft.com) -nor can any other archiver. Winrar3 has become a standard in the scene, so use it ppl.
* this may not apply to the centropy release*

Also you can check the integrity of the files with the sfv file (use tucows for a sfv checker).

What you get is a BIN and a CUE file - extract and burn with your favourite burner. This is a fully standard VCD so you can put it in your DVD player and see the movie in your home cinema.

- tried it now, download speed is at 70 KBs at this moment (check my post). It will get more and more share by the minute. Anyhow, enjoy, meesa going 2 sleep :}.

@Funkypapa: You can either burn them via Nero or such and view the movie on a DVD component or extract the contents (mpegav/something001.dat) and view in on the HD.

@deadlock: Tracker can be busy sometimes. Since a gazillion people are connecting to it. It's not mine, so I can't really do anything to help. And it's the best one there is...

hey there guys! Whenever i try to download this movie with bittorent, my connection with my isp got disconnected bu the file seems to continue to load, then i waited awhile after a few minutes, bittorent tried to connect to my isp but my firewall prevented it, so i turned off firewall on my internet connection, then when i looked up on the folder which i saved the files, i saw 3 folders, cd1,cd2 and sample, i opened cd1 folder and i saw cd1.srv and a lot of winRAR files which are .part??.rar, but when i tried to extract them, winRAR can't identify those files and error occurs, how can i extract these files, they are so huge, about 600+ mb overall (cd1) and cd2 also contains these files. Any help and/or solutions? Suggestions? I saw The Matrix Reloaded on the very first day it came out on the theaters and i loved it, so i would be glad if i can watch it at home endlessly! Please help me, thanks in advance! :)

Use winrar 3 to extract those part files. Version 2 cannot do that. Nor can any other archiver. Winrar3 has become a standard in the scene, so use it ppl.

I have downloaded the latest beta release of winRAR(3.20 beta 5) and again i've tried to extract the .part files and then an error message occurs, "F:/Matrix.Reloaded.TS-ESOTERIC/CD1/eso-mxr1.part01.rar The archive is either in unknown format or damaged". What should i do? Do I have to download those files again? And how come that the files are in my comp already? The download was not completed because i got disconnected on my isp then all of a sudden a lot of files are on my hard drive, how did this happen? And what could have happened if the download process continued? Will I get a different files or folders? Thanks for the help man, i really appreciate it, but please be patient, i'm a newbie here, i just really need your help! :)

Lol, NOW I see what your problem is :}. You didn't finish the download yet, man. Bittorent automaticly generates the SAME files as they will appear later, but they don't contain data, just spaces. This is the same as with edonkey. It creates the file in advance so there won't be any disk space problems afterwards.

Solution to your problem - download the file. You have to go to 100% :}

And bittorent is the same as getright or edonkey - you can resume downloading a million times, it doesn't care. Just double click on the matrix2.torrent file you downloaded off my website and it will automaticly continue downloading from where it ended.

Thanks for the link! I thought I try it because the movie starts on 22th in my country. Still some days to go before I can see it! :(

My problem:
There is always that error: Problem connecting to tracker (10060, Operation timed out)
Does this tell me that nobody is online right now sharing the files?
This Error came always since I started bittorrent 4 hours ago!

No, it means that the tracker was busy at the exact time stated a few letters before the error. It keeps the last two errors for you to see ... it's only that.

as for the users - the stats right now (this second):
users with 100% of the file: 360
users still downloading: 1447

(you download automaticly from both groups as soon as something is free and as soon as you can connect to the tracker - my record of transfer is 377 KB/s)

That's exactly right. You have to wait untill some slots are free. And they are usually free pretty quick (another neat feature of bittorrent - uploadee swiching). Andsince you can't disable uploading in bittorent all 1807 people can upload to you. That's just about it. Hang on, you WILL get it ;}.

It took me around 3-4 hours to download it, so don't panic, Judicator :}.

the program starts uploading data when i download. What exactly is it uploading as i havent specified what part of my hard drive i want to share, this seems VERY dodgy to me, can anyone take anything from my hdd? The only reason i noticed this is because i have a WAN monitor on my router which keeps me informed on what comes in and gos out ;)

Well, it works fine, but not too fine.
I had the window open for nearly 15 hours, now!
But I only have 8% right now. A bit slow but better than nothing ;)

My max. download is 90 but my average downloadspeed with bittorrent is 4!
But it always uploads the file with my full upload-capacity of 16 Kbits/s...
4 compared with 16 is a little bit unfair!

as you are uploading its effecting your download speed. It seems strange that you upload the file you are downloading, effectivly its forcing you to upload, looks like ill be watching this in the cinema :D

the screenshot's quality isn't really that good. i think the new release by centropy is much better, check vcdquality.com's screenshot, however where actually could i find the .torrent file.

i guess my 1.3 Gb download is a waste

@n3o2501: I can't really believe that the 1,3 Gigabytes took you only 3-4 hours - then you must have a huge upload! With me upload=download and so I only get 15-20 Kbytes/s! :(

But not with your torrent, because there the tracker is very limited and I always got a max. of 5 kbytes/s!

Centropy release just came out. Do you want it? The quality is fas more superior then the other releases (ATM, VIDEOCD, FTF, ESOTERIC). It actually looks like a DVDScreener :}

I have seen the release of the ctp this morning and SURE I want it! I already found a torrent-link to that file, but downloading a 2,3 GB-File with a average speed of 10 Kbites/s (which is my max with bittorent) is crazy!

I would like to get it, but only if it would be on kazza where I got dowloadspeeds of 70 Kbits/s!

But there is another release from amp which seems to be nearly as good than the ctp release, but unfortunatley it's vcd and not svcd which makes the difference! :(

I have the APM release on my hard drive since yesterday and I can tell you that it's not nearly half as good. Checkthe jpeg samples and the mpeg samples.

So far, no one can make releases as good as centropy. But 3 cds, hehe. Oh well.

Dunno, maybe I was just lucky, hehe. Right now I'm downloading at a lousy 27K/s. Oh well, will have it tomorrow probably. BTW: Kazaa wont ever be good for screeners, try edonkey instead (although this release is spreading terribly slow).

Have to start using irc again, none of the pubs have ctp. none of the dumps have ctp. argh.

It still says 6 1/2 hrs left though, I'll have it by tommorrow anyway, but as they screenshots look so good from the other one, i'd prefer that one! Did someone say it was 3 cds long though? Is that standard cd/vcds? I have a dvd burner, so should only take 1, eh?

Some things go really fast over Kazaa like x-men 1 screener, or LOtR 2. But generally kazaa is only good for mp3s.

E-Donkey don't work for me, because I tried everything but I think my provider blocks ports which are badly needed for donkey/mule.

Perhaps I only go to the cinema and watch matrix there.....

BitTorrent is really a bit slow for me :(

I think the speed won't last so high, but I hope for you!
The Centropy version are 3 SVCD's which are .bin and .cue files which have to be burned on 3 standart CDs with Nero or another good program! I don't know if you can burn those 3 files on one DVD, but I doubt it!

@Judicator: Hehe, I was just writing the same reply :}. Anyway, you can do it - extract all three bin files - you get three DAT files (mpegav directory on the cd) - rename them as you want and then burn.

If you want to create a VCD (or SVCD) on one dvd, then join hte three and whalla - burn as vcd. There is a little bigger number of steps, but if you know what i mean, go ahead and do it - if not, i advise you to just burn the dat files or vcd three cds.

The download is at 50 now, but the uploads gone down to 9 kbs. Does it matter about the upload speed or just the download, or are the 2 related to each other.

I'll try to get them all onto one dvd as it'll be a lot less hassle in the long run.

I'll try my best and let you know how i get on.

Try to free ports from 6881 to 6889.

Taken from BitTorrent's FAQ:
Yes, but you will get better performance if other peers can connect to you. By default, BitTorrent listens on port 6881, trying incrementially higher ports if it's unable to bind. It gives up after 6889 (the port range is configurable.) It's up to you to figure out how to poke a hole in your firewall/NAT.

Be sure to reroute all ports from 6881 to 6889 to your network 'ip'. That's called user defining virtual servers. The same thing is done with edonkey, if you want a high transfer and a high userhash.

You get in return what you offer.

The maximum I can upload are 17 kb/s, so I only get a maximum of 15 kb/s in return....

With your high upload-capacity it's normal to get so much download....

If you have a router, then I can help you. But you have to have admin access to it.

You mostly get a router if you have ADSL/DSL (also possible with cable). Anything lower does not require a router.

...and I'm not familliar with T1 and OC3 connections since I've never seen one in real life, hehe.

I'm not sure if i have a router or not?!?! I've got a broadband connection from BT. It runs at 576K/s, but is more than likely running slower than normal cos of the download.

If you have windows NT (nt/2000/xp), run the cmd service and type ipconfig.

It should give you some info about your local network address - find the 'default gateway' setting (that would be the router). Try to access it via a web browser.

If you have successfully accessed it, that means you have access to it. If it wants a password, than you don't.

Try it.
