I just bought a 3330 off of Ebay, I have fixed all of the problems with it execpt this one!
On my nokia 3330 3 of the 4 of the screen LEDs are dim and the rest of the LEDs are the same brightness.
Its the three on the right hand side that are the problem!

Anyone got any solutions to this problem?

I would wait for some other replies on this subject before trying it, but maybe open up the nokia and test the leds with a multimeter? See if the LEDs are faulty?

There is a guide at http://mobil.box.sk/blue.php3 for changing your nokia's leds from green to blue, I suppose you could change them all to blue, or at least use the guide to open up your mobile and test em using a multimeter.

But as I said this is a bit of a job, and needs torx T6 screwdriver (anyone know where I could get one in England, any hardware shop or is it more specialist than that?) so wait for some other suggestions, if not, I would probably open it up and test em.

Good luck :)

Bob

I'm not afraid to open my phone!
But this is not the problem, I have already tested them and they are fine!

I have a 3310 here with the same problem!!! I cannot find a solution anywhere!!! I've tryed everything I can think of!!! What it comes down to I think is that the PCB has lost contact along the line in between the working one and the first dead one! Can we jumpstart\hotwire it?

What voltage do these LEDs work at??

I am gonna have a look at the schematics and see how they are wired up!
I'll write back with any progress!

Cheers for all the help!
