I’ve been trying to figure how to connect to the internet using a notebook connecting to Nokia 7650 via BT and using GPRS connection instead of GSM connection. I’ve install Nokia Modem Option and there are a few steps that I don’t really understand, what should I fill in in the GPRS access point box?
Settings:
Bluetooth Adapter
Billionton USB dongle with version 1.3.2.7 driver under Windows 2000.
Access Point
Connection Point Name: xxxx GPRS
Data bearer: GPRS
Access Point Name: net
Username: xxxx
Prompt password: no
Password : xxxx
Authentication: normal
IP address: 202.75.133.49
Homepage: http://blahblahblah
Connection Security: off
Session mode: permanent
There’s another thing I don’t quite understand is the setting for access point for Nokia 7650 under Settings > Connection > GPRS > Access Point, what should we actually put in this field and what does it referring to? I still can get GPRS connection even though I leave it blank.
