7210 / 6610 msg alert tones

Search forums for midi files. You can use any midi file as msg alert tone for your phone by using "Personal" and then "Open Gallery" in the message alert tone setting.

My 7210 hasn't got "open gallery" in the personal message alert menu - just the original ringtones that came on the phone!! Does it have it in later software versions - mine is v3.09???

6610 v3.09, mine has the personal option in message alerts

Yes you need your phone updated if you got a griffin do it yourself if not take it to a nokia service centre and tell them to do it.

Yup, cprafferty is right. I think "Open Gallery" function is available only after version 4.18.

Back in England later on this week so I'll get it done then - anyone still got that list of service centres??
