Wideband AMR

Anyone know anything about the wideband AMR format for audio?

I'm looking for encoders etc.

hi bro.

you can use nokia multimedia converter 2 beta 2 to encode wb amr but built in player of my 7650 could'nt play it!. You can download it from forum nokia but first; you have to got free membership.

I have the MMConverter 2 beta 2 installed. I created a file to play on my 3650, it will play the video but not the sound.

For some reason, the 3650 is not able to play any audio encoded with the AMR Wideband standard.

Does anyone know of any updates that are available to fix this problem?

I think it's important that the 3650 supports this format, especially aas the new 'True Tone' ring tones use this format.

Any info would be gladly recieved,
