I've just got a cable for an 8310 and trying to use Logomanager and Nokia suite 4. Either the phone won't switch on whilst connected to the cable or I get this message on the phone display saying 'Accessory not supported'
It's supposed to be a dual m/f bus cable no manual switch on it.
What's going on...help?
Dodgy cable?? Wrong cable? Hmmpff

The easiest way will be to open up the connector that plugs into your phone and check that none of the pins for the cable are accidentally wired together.
Also make sure that the adaptor on the end is firmly in the phone!
Have you tried it on another 8310?
I bought an 8310 datacable for about £5 including postage on ebay and that worked fine, I supose its just luck of the draw or seller!
