Hello guyz,

I have a 3310 v4.45. I want to upgrade it to v5.87. Do i need to flash eeprom also??

hmm! I had occured some problems upgrading a Nokia 3310 V4.45 and V5.13 to a newest version (Without reflashing the eeprom). But when I reflash the eeprom it work perfect.

Hi,

I upgraded my phone with almost any version, starting 4.06.

I still have my original eeprom.

U only need to set bit 30 of the profiles setting to get the extra 3315 options.

kNok has a simple button for that.

be aware theres retarded bugz in the 5.87:

t9 dictionary plain up sucks.. no speed increase, and too happy to add crap to the user dictionary.. see my other thread about it..

hitting reply to an sms always sends the reply to that person.. even if you change the number when pressing send.. beware if you dont want to text someone the wrong thing.. muha

battery charging problems.. might just be my phone and eeprom.. but its been plain up wrong for me ever since i flashed.. will only charge when phone is off... and switches off at random times

This has always been the case for the upgrades!!! I don't think Nokia even know it exists!!! It works fine in 3310 mode, but trips out in 3315!!!:(
