sorry but i am new to unlocking,what do u mean by unlocking & what happens when u unlock a 7650?do u mean that we can use the phone without the sim card inside except for calling?please someone explain...thank you....

It means that after you unlock your phone you can use other network provider sim card.
Mostly all phones are locked to network company where you purhace your phone that prevents using other network SIM cards.

and using your phone without simcard is called flight mode. System tools has this function.
