I assume you mean 5mb (megabytes), that shouldn't be a problem with real one, in fact, that's a rather small file size. There must be something wrong with your settings in real one, or maybe you don't have enough ram (on board memory, not the mmc) available, or the encoding settings you used were incorrect . I don't know the exact file limit (if there is one) that real player can handle, but I've played full length movies, more than 1 1/2 hours and around 115 megabytes in size, with no problem, in fact, they play smoothly on my 3650. By the way, I don't know if this has something to do with it, but I've got at least 2.8 megabytes of available ram.

Sorry for the late response, I was out of town, just got back today. Try searching the forum, I saw some posting where you can downlaod some movies. If I have a short clip I'll send try to send it to you, so far, the movies I have are 60 to 90 mb in size, too large to send over the interenet.

What settings did you use? how much FREE ram (on board memory not mmc) do you have?
Try using these settings for Helix Producer:
Audio mode: Voice
Video Mode: Smoothest Motion
Video Codec: Real Video 8 (you have to use realvideo 8)
For the options:
Use high quality resampler for audio (enabled)
resize video to (enabled), resize to 176x144
2 pass video encoding (disabled), to make encoding faster
maintain aspect ratio (disabled), to allow 176x144 screen size
high quality resize (enabled)
NOTE:
Delete the four settings under audiences in job (it's the box on the right side of the audience dialogue box)
Choose 128k dual ISDN or 150k LAN Template (depending on the quality you want, try not to go over 150 LAN). Be sure to double click the template and change the FPS (frame rate) to 9 or 10 fps(your choice), do not go over 10 fps when using 150 LAN template.
Try these settings, it's works on my 3650.

There aren't many sites that I know of where can download videos for the 3650, I ve' seen some sites in Yahoo Groups but I can't remember the link to the sites. You can try the link below, there are some short videos there;

Check it out.

the clip being to large has no reference to the videos size in mb but the size of the vidoe your fone only supports maximum of 176x144 size

Helix producer is not a program for your phone, it's a program for your pc (computer). You use the program to convert mpeg video files (haven't tried other formats yet, maybe avi will work too) to rm format so that you can watch them on your phone using real player (which is already installed on your phone).
Yes, when I say free RAM, I am referring to the on board memory of the phone (I think there's only 4mb total ram on the phone). 2.6 mb free RAM is more than adequate in my experience (I have only around 2.3 mb free RAM but the videos still run smoothly on my phone). I have no trouble playing large video files on my phone, the largest video I've played is around 115 mb, so the size of the video file isn't really the issue. Try playing with the settings of real one player.
Try these settings on real one (you can access it thru options)
VIDEO:
Video Quality: High Framerate
Automatic Scaling: Off
PLAYBACK:
Repeat: Off
NETWORK:
Default Access Point: None
Bandwidth: Automatic
Maximum Bandwidth: 40.2
Connection Time-out: leave it as is
Server Time-out: leave it as is
Lowest Port: 6970
Highest Port: 7170
PROXY:
Use Proxy: No
Host Address: None
Port: 1091
These are the exact setting of real one on my phone. Using the settings I previously posted for Helix Producer and the above-stated settings for real one, videos play smoothly on my phone.
Again, hope this helps.
Yes when realplayer said it is to large it means the movie size.

Yes when realplayer said it is to large it means the movie size.
That's right. The moive size has to be about 172 x 140.

Those settings are too high and have too low frame rate.
I've created a new template that works like a charm... Check out the faq on the Movie Making Vault on my signature, then tell me if you like these settings better...
