I have this problem since 26 feb 2003. That day, I was sending a SMS. Due to a Symbian System problem, the phone "crashed". Then I turned off and then on, and it worked perfect, but the message stayed in the Outbox since then, and I don't know how to get rid of it. And I have ALWAYS the icon on the phone that there is always a message sending. What can I do??? I'm desperate!!!

Thnx

first go in menu messaging then Inbox, when you're inbox with the joystick move to the right till you get outbox then delete it that all..

I've tried that before,but there's no erase/delete option. The only options I have are:
- Create message
- Message details
- Exit

In message details, you only can see the date, hour, tipe, etc...

I don't know what to do.... please help me if possible.

Thnx

hi im not sure if this will work but it's worth try, using a file exporer like seleq open and edit your mail folder, im not sure but i think it's c:, nokia, mail then have a search through the folders until you find it, you should then be able to delete it, if not use the edit menu and cut it from the folder it's in and then paste it to another folder like images or inbox, once you've done that close seleq and just go into the folder you pasted it to and delete it.

hope this helps

Sorry to tell you dude,

This has happened to a friend's phone before, and we've tried EVERYTHING.... And the only solution we came up with was :

*#7370#

Remember to backup your CONTACTS/Images/Sounds!!!!

all options had been tried, but as you say matey if didnt work on your mates fone it's not gonna work for anna, thanks

@Anna
before you do a full reset make sure you save all the files you want to keep like htreXists said, all the info and warnings about the reset are in this thread http://nokiafree.org/forums/t26621/s.html

after you have reset your fone, restore it item by item (uncheck all data and settings) and restore all the others apart from documents, and this should solve your prob (i think). as far as the language pack goes i'm not sure? have you still got it on your pc? in case you need to re-install it...

hope this helps

I don't have the language pack cuz I went to a Nokia Center to install it...
I would like to know if I'm going to loose my language pack cuz then I wouldn't do the format. Or... where can I find languages pack???

Thnx

I think youll lose your Language pack if you format your phone however maybe it gets backed up on your PC, and maybe reinstalled on your cell when you do a restore from the PC suit... I'm not sure...
Cheers

Que tal Ana? A mi me paso lo mismo, y usando SELEQ v1.65 lo pude borrar, "...y Santas Pascuas" ...porque no lo pruebas?

"How are you doing, Ana? Same did happen to me, and I was able to delete it using SELEQ v1.65 "...y Santas Pascuas (Spanish saying meaning "all OK, and that was that...)" ...why don't you try?"

Only remove the sim,
put another one into the Phone,
and try to delete.

At least if u remove back your original-sim,
the sms should be be deletet.

none of your solutions worked, so I did a backup of my data and *#7370# and that's all...
Now I have all my contacts back, but I've lost my messages, cuz if I resore them, the message of the outbox goes another time to the folder (i tried...)
anyways, thnx A LOT!!! for ur help

The 'c' button was just the solution to delete the message in Anna's outbox..........................................................................

@spunky2003
the format worked perfect and I did'nt loose my language pack... then I restored the files from my pc (all except documents) and now is working well, with a lot less messages ;)

@14344
I tried that and did not work... I tried EVERYTHING before doing a format. If the messages keeps on the Sent messages folder, there is no problem, but on the Outbox foder, you can't delete it...

Of course mine is Nokia, a Nokia 7650, and probably I got it before you. I have it since Sept 2002, and maybe it's the software version that it's too old...

Is there anyway to upgrade it??? can you do it via IR??? where can I get the update???

Thnx

The only way to change it by yourself, is if you have a flashing kit, otherwise, you have to take it to NOKIA...
