Is it realy out now?? but howcome only the eye program can be converter... the ETI software has the .eye and .ear separate... so if you can only convert the .eye it will only be for the video part of what about the sound... if this is the case then hantro's software is better....

i've tried the software... it seems not to work with my computer... always getting the same result

ermm...then this apps should be install to our 7650/3650 to convert or install to our computer to convert...after converting...which player can play the convertered files???

Same here, I tried the s/w and I get the error code "Failed to load HCNUBSRC filter." I diligently followed the instructions in the read.me file but still the s/w doesn't run on my PC.

I suspect this s/w runs ONLY in win95 and win98??? I'm using winME.

XP. This has nothing to do with the windows version. You HAVE to specify the absolute path, remember that. I will post a batch file on my site or somewhere soon to uncomplicate things a little. Made it so it automaticly converts ten sequental EYE files. Works great.

Remember - to play the AVI files on the pc - you have to install the exe file thats there. that's the codec to view the files.

And write the absolute paths. Don't forget that.

By the way, ME is just a big clunky upgrade of windows 98 ... so it has to work. Tried it on 95, 98, XP, 2000, 2003 server and longhorn. (yes, I know, I have wayy to much free time, hehe)

Just to post the size info if anyone wants to know - I recorded a clip yesterday @ HQ, mic level max, length was 6:11. Sizes:

5,97 MB Video file
1,43 MB Audio file
10,4 KB THM file

7,41 MB in total.

After conversion to the NUB codec the size of the AVI is:

8,79 MB.

Hehe...I noticed that too....I usually go another step further and throw the avi into helix to convert to rm...drops it to approx. 45% of the NUB coded avi...(with resize UP to 176x132)

Just a question - why do u use rm files? Do you put them back on the phone or what?

I want to use avis since the size of the codec that you have to download is way much smaller than a phillips platform 4 player for example.

yes. it doesn't work in winME... i converted mine in winXP... just do a dual boot system.
