View Full Version : 5210 Wierd Problem....?

I have a 5210 with a strange problem.


When you switch the phone on,

It switches on, Lights up, displasys the standard All Black Pixels, and then freezes. It stays lit up for 2 or 3 mins before switching it self off.

VERY Occasionally it manages to reach the "Insert Sim" screen -

Have tried full flashing it with Knok which at the end of flashing says "MCU Could not be restarted".

Rolis flash's it as well (I know not 2 use it but thought wat the hell) and it didn't make a difference.

CAN ANY1 Help?

Forgot to mention,

The Screen is blank when lit up.

When I try to flash it with rolis 4.79 ii get this:

Flash erase error.
91 00 FF expected but recieved FE FE FE
Seems that loader cannot erase whole flash
Check Vpp etc etc etc..

Can any1 please help

Your Problem is MCU You Have To Heat the MCU and im Sure You Will solve It, But Its Not Software Problem .

After The Hardware Work Do The Flash.

which chip is the MCU? Know which one ccont and cobba are but mcu?
