Hi Everyone

I need to know how to remove ball gridded chips.Those chips which are on the board and not very easy to remove with a soldering iron.please help me someone.

Can someone tell me where to find more reading material regarding phone repairs & stuff.

Hi Imob,

The most important tool you require for this job is an SMD rework station. This uses hot air for desoldering the BGA ICs. Without this it is next to impossible to remove these ICs without damaging them or the board. I know of a guy who does it with a small flame torch, but he too damages things (I don't recommend u try this). You will also require liquid flux for desoldering BGAs. You can look around on the net by searching for "SMD rework station". You'll get thousands of replies and rates.
