Can someone please explain the diffence between a 6310 and a 6310i.

Hi!
As far as I Know 6310i is a 3 band phone...there is and a hardware difference i think..but no 100% sure... try www.id2.cz
You can download service manual from there and see the differences by Your self /sorry for my english/

6310 is dual band, that is 900mhz and 1800mhz the frequency used by most of the world.

The 6310i is Tri band, that is 900mhz, 1800mhz and 1900mhz - Nokia call their tri band phones World phones, 1900mhz is what America use.
