Format problems!!

I don't understand, i'm tryng to format may 9210 i press ctrl\shift\ and f , when the nokia whellcome apears, it aks me if i realy whant to format , press format, but it don't format any thing!!!!

any one knows what is this!!!

Of course it is... you simply right-click your communicator's C: or D: drive (depending which one you want to format, your communicator or your MMC card) and there is an option to ... format!

Another way is to simply go to C: or D: on your communicator and delete everything. I suggest this solution, since communicator archives leave no "traces" or ini or dat or com files behind. Simply select all and press delete. No need to format and re-format.

But the sms stuf shouldn't be activated even before install any thing on the 9210?

and when the format are processing shouldn't we see the indicator process?
in may case only the welcome picture apears again!!

when i try to format using the pc it say to me that some the files are in use and the format will be ended

The big problem it's that i can't create sms !!

it display a error message : " not found"

i alredy ctrl-shift+i
and try to format crtl-shift+f
i don't know if the format it was made, because i don't remember if must apears a format progress( it not apears).
but the problem is the sms...

man 1st time i am hearing this prob main thing is tht while reboot if the format window appears and i dosnet format wat i think there can b some rom prob but nono how it's possible ok please try it like this shut down all tasks or kill them by task man...
then connect ur 9210 with pc and oprn ur 9210 with nokia 9210 communicator icon placed on ur desktop and format c by right clicking on the c icon in communicator windows...i wish this works:(

If formatting fails with PC Suite, then just rename the Systemfolder on C: and D:

Restart the phone by removing the batery

Connect to PC Suite ,try Format it again

Format must work now,

Install instructions after c: and d: are full formated

1. Install All memory card data.sis to D:
2. Install All 9210 data to D:
3. Restart it

Now you have more memory on C: to use as RAM for programs

Install all other software to D:


Enjoy the fresh installed 9210, with no errors,

My 9210 is working 1,5 years long without problems.

I can't close all files becouse de system block when a close some ones and are oders that is not premite close, so even rename system folder i can, because some file is in use.

if u can open the control panel
install/remove
try to remove most of programmes
then u make format

(if u have any addetional font from PSiloc u have to remove it )

I already make the format, I try to rename se system folder but i can't becouse some of the files in there are in use, so i rename all i cud inside the system folder and reboot, and the format works this time.
i alredy have sms :D
