Hi. I recently dropped my Nokia 3330 quite badly and now it has no signal. When you first switch it on you get a signal but then it dies. Ive tried cleaning pcb with meths, tried flashing it and setting faid imei etc. I think it is definately a hardware problem. When i was messing about trying to fix it i knocked a small capacitor off. Ive soldered this back on but do you think that has done anymore daMAGE. I have marked the capacitor on this diagram of a 3310. Not 3330 but nearly the same.
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. A friend of mine thinks it may need the joints heated with a heat gun
Thanks in advance
james

Hi bob_bob77,

What you have marked on the PCB is an LED. Your friend may be right. Try reheating the power amplifier and antenna switch. Do this and please post the results. Maybe some other members will have more suggestions.
