Is it possible to have different operator logos for different networks in a roaming network?

Here is the exact situation. I'm using Airtel as a network provider. I'm a regular visitor to a city where there is no coverage of Airtel, but a network provider named Escotel provides Airtel subscribers roaming coverage. Can I set a operator logo for Escotel? I have set a transparent operator logo for Airtel, Can I do so for Escotel too?

Hello again :)
Unfortunately the phone takes only ONE logo which will display whenever you are in your home network... interestingly, after you change SIM to another network, it will also show in that network then (myself... Orange, DPC 1800, AIS and D-TAC SIM's....) the first Nokia where the logo is NOT network-specific :) But in roaming, it will always show the operator name instead of the logo. I roam also between DPC 1800 (home network) and AIS (parent company with separate network).. at my office, DPC is too weak, and when AIS kicks in, the logo disappears and it shows TH AIS GSM instead......
I guess there's only "space" for one logo :)
Your Thanh......

I know. As when I use a Escotel's subscriber's sim, my transparent logo is automatically shown. That's why I'm asking that if it shows a common logo for any home network, why can't it show a common logo for all roaming networks. Maybe because your home network is just one single network whereas there can be many roaming networks in a single route of 100 kilometers.

The problem is that I don't have Nokia 7110.

Does any other Nokia stable allows this?

If you have more simcards from differnt subscribers then u can use a logo for each simcard,

and I think you must connect to the network before you can change the logo for it.

I don't think so. The information of the operator logo is stored in the phone only, not in the sim. You can try this, set a logo for a local network, go to some roaming coverage, your phone won't show the logo. But if you put that network provider's sim in the phone, your phone will show the logo you saved for your local network!!

Logos are saved for local networks, that too, in the phone only.
