Hi all,
I am pretty new to all this. My problem is that I bought a 3 month old Nokia 7210 off the net around 6 months ago. It was originally on 02 (UK) network. I bought it and then put in my own Orange (UK) contract SIM card. The phone and SIM worked perfectly till about a month ago when one day I switched it on and it said SIM card registration failure. So I called up Orange UK and they said the phone had been barred. My SIM works fine in my new phone I bought two weeks ago. I don't know what the problem is with the 7210, but is it at all possible to get it working again. I would be most grateful as it's a really nice phone but it's just sitting in my room? Apologies forthe long post!

Many thanks and any advice gratefully received.

Post your phone model, network code and IMEI number on the following forum. They will give you the unlock code. Type the code on your phone, then your sim will work on 7210 too.

Hi,
I have tried entering the different codes but message says code error. Is the phone barred? Can I get it unbarred?

Many thanks

I told you, this unblocking problem can only be solved in the forum I mentioned above. Try posting a new thread with your problem in the unlocking forum.

AS I said i my last post I have already been given the unlock codes for my IMEI number but NONE of them work. The message says code error, therefore my phone is possibly UK barred. Can it be used in another country? Does anyone want to buy or swap my 7210? The only other way of getting it to work is by changing the UEM chip and hard building a new IMEI number for the phone. Please help!

Right CODE ERROR mean that the code is wrong OR somebody has entered wrong code to many times and now EVEN the right code WILL NOT WORK.

The solution is direct unlock ONLY

for this your WILL need a DCT-4 flash box of some description.
