U just need to call 1234 and ask to activate the ZONE portal...and then they send u an sms for configuration like to configure gprs and mms...u save it and then u have to wait to the service to be available. Mine istn active yet since yesterday 8 pm...they say 24 hours maximum but they say too that they have a lot of requests and can take a litle longue...i'm waiting but i activeted one from a friend yesterday and the activation was imediatly. u conect in serviços to portaloptimus and when u r subscrived all sms and wap to the portal is free :) untill 31 de August. u dont need to doenload any software what they have theyr to doenload is only the cam recorder but i think u people who r in the forum dont need it ;) and a zone shotcut that u can install....but be carefull that not everything is free u pay by ringtones and games and sme other stuff but there is a lot of usefull thing free and mms to all networks :) ...but i read that they made a contract with opera and optuimus is installing opera browser in the new model so i hope that they will have a doenload soon ...

Ter as mensagens de configuração não é problema nenhum, tens memorizada a da vodafone e inserindo o cartão Optimus, ligas para eles e pedes a mensagem de configuração quando ta enviarem, tens é que a memorizar de maneira a que não te confundas!

i asked them to activate wap gprs yesterday at about 5pm, i tried this morning about 10am and it worked..
and the best part..unlike what they say, we can surf to wapsites outside their portal for free!! use it & abuse it :)

Already have it activated...anyone knows any good wap links to try...i tryed to see TV online but i couldent...first i had pvplayer and assumes the default player...then i unistalled and real player made the first place...but when trying to open it says unsuficient band with to play the clip....anyone did it???

Hi everybody!!!

Yep!! There is a new service for the Portuguese operator called "Optimus".
It's called "Ozone" (Optimus zone) and it's very similar to "Vodafone Life!".
You have access to exclusive contents via wap and http pages.
You must have mms service activated and wap through GPRS..
The equipments (Nokia 7650 & 3650) sold by Optimus will have
allready installed new software, namelly a new video recorder, an Opera browser (for wap and http pages),
and a video player that allows full screen.
Also there will be links available in the "favorites" folder for exclusive access to Optimus clients.

....How do i know all this??
I work in a Club Nokia Service Point and have received information and software for upgrading the 7650 and 3650 with the new "Ozone".
The service started officialy today 12-06-2003.

I've included an image with the software for 7650 and 3650, so that you don't think i'm telling you a lie. Check it in the members

No u dont need any software intalled i dont have it...the sotware is sort of a shortcut only to open the conection..i can give u the link to the portal if u want to try...but i dont know if is exclusive to optimus numbers. (portal.optimus.pt)

No...its free ...u only pay if u use outside services...but if u connect to the portal u can go to any wap page u like free. Everything it usess a wap connection is free. And mms...u only pay 0.02 € for other kind of connections

krubs... its just free for symbian phones... 3650 and 7650.. other phones like 7250 ( my girl phone) the same conections and is not for free.. i tested.. sorry just zone is free... btw.. all wap gprs is free in this 2 phones...

I have one point to the Moderators. When I first came to this forum it was a great place. We were allowed "send to" and "here is my email address" and there never seemed to be a complaint to the or about the Moderators.
Now the "New Rules" have come into place it seems there is alot more agression towards the Moderators. Perhaps you would like to look at this. I know you will probably say "If you don't like it then leave" which seems to be the moderators attitude at the moment.
I would like to say that you should realy think about going back to the old "send me" and "here is my email address" rules That way I think people will be alot happier within this forum. I have seen alot more people "Banned" recently for the most minor things. When only a few months ago people would have a slanging match but always end up friends again, I know I have had a few.

So my point of view is "MODERATORS PLEASE LOOK AGAIN AT YOUR RULES!"

I have done a bit of searching and found that most of the moderaters posts are "your banned" "thread closed" "thread moved" and not much "my advice is....." surely as a moderator you should be around to offer advice and help others more than just shutting people up. I also thought that there should be no bad language but its seems one rule for the moderators and one rule for others (See Noc Doc's Signature) how come he has not been banned!!!!!!
