Will this combination work with Mobile Media Manager?? I've been having problems with it recognising the phone. Do i need a different version and is it okay to use this usb cable??
Thanks People

Yes, it will work. But check the version of MobilMB. Only version 1.2.2 or above supports 7250.

Search the main NokiaFree page with MobilMB as the search word. You will get plenty of threads about downloading MobilMB.

Cheers mate. Another thing. When i plug the data cable in i sometimes get "Incompatible accessory" come up on the display. (almost 80% of the time) its kinda annoying. Any ideas?

This happens when the cable does'nt exactly fits in the pop-port. To rectify this problem, do this, whenever you fit the cable in the port, apply some pressure to the cable into the port for 2 or 3 secs. The phone will detect the cable and won't show the message even if the cable loses up a little.

i glad someone's good at this :) when it happens i usually have problems getting the computer to see the phone. Should be good to have it working properly. I thought it was a bad connection somewhere but i didnt think of holding it in for a few secs. I'll let u know if it all goes well.

Sure...
BTW: How much the cable cost you?

Probably too much. I got it from ebay for about £22 with a CD of cr@p. The cable works fine now i hold it in a bit first and i got MobilMB working with it :) I think i would prefer a serial port cable but my motherboard has no legacy bits so no serial or parralel ports....

Well, if you still want to change the cable, then I'll recommend you a Infrared port. Best of the lot and is not phone dependent. Works with most of Nokia and other phones.

You can try at eBay. Infrared adapters are common these days and even your local computer vendor will arrange you one on request as mine did.
It costed me around Rs 1500.00 so it should cost you around £20.
