It seems that a lot of people are having problems with *.zip files and don't know what to do with them. So I thought that a guide could help this guys.
Here it is:
1) Make !SURE! that the file that you are trying to install is a Java file
2) If you are !SURE! rename it to whatever.jar . "whatever" is the name of the game, app, etc. Make sure that it has *.jar extension
3) Send it to the phone using the normal procedures. I use IR on winXP, so when the phone is connected right click the renamed file and choose "Send to" -> "A nearby computer"
4) You will recieve a msg in tour phone just like a SMS one. Open as if your were reading anyone else and it will start the installer
5) Optionaly after the install of the file you can delete the message recieved
Notes: If you are not !SURE! that the file you are triyng to install is written on Java, and you send it to your phone, this will delete all contacts, photos, scheduled meetings, etc. Total reset!
