Can anyone tell me how to teach irremote how to learn new devices - i've sent my ccf file to my 3650 using bluetooth but irremote doesn't kick in and deal with the settings and stuff, it just looks like a text!!!
Anyway if anyone can help i'd appreciate it!! Cheers!!

I'm still tying to find a way to teach my remote new codes, unfortunately, theres no help from the makers of the software. Dos anyone know how to do it?
I cant even get it to work with my Sky Digital Box, and they are all standard remotes.
On the Plus side , I have managed to get it to control my VCR, but thats all! :(

Hey guys I have got my remotes working great. Bad thing is you need an IPAQ or a Pronto device. Use these devices to learn the codes from your remote controlers. Once learned take the .ccf files and transfer it to your phone. Then just program the buttons you want.
Hey I got iPAQ 1910 - how can be transfered information from it to 3650 about irRemote ? what do u mean ?
More than two months ago I installed irRemote but I'm not sure which version, suddenly it brokedown and now it's not working properly. Which is the newest version and how PDA device can be used as a source of irRemote information ?!?

Can't the nokia phone learn the buttons from your remote.. I remember before that there was a program for the PDA that learns the buttons of he remote and stores it in its memory...

No, the nokia cannot "learn" the ir signals. Only use ones that are already made. Get a program called "Remote controler" also software called "Pronto Edit" which is a PC program. Pronto edit allows you to edit the .ccf files, and remote controler allows you to "learn" the ir codes. See www.remotecentral.com

Hi,
you can use WinIRC to learn the commands.

I had a problem with my irRemote, but the problem was that I wasn't holding my Nokia 3650 in a range which the IR of my 3650 could function.
So the thought of the irRemote not working wasn't really true, I just had to move around 6 feet from my TV/VCR and the damn great program does its job.
I have tried it on several '95 hardware, and so far it all works fine for me.
Using... Psiloc irRemote 3.0

Is there a piece of software that can 'learn' from my existing remote controls and convert into CCF files?
I have a PC running XP and a IrDA dongle, NOT on a com port. It connects to a USB port.
The software mentioned above only works with IR devices connected to specific COM ports.
Hi,
you can use WinIRC to learn the commands.

Yeah it works, but not with my tv...(Akai Digital (Nokia Chïps)) ± 10 maybe 20 years old.
So is it the ir that not suported or is my ir recever not compatible (a mindPath, use for control your pc and powerpoint), i get a signal: Raw codes -> space 131560 pulse 300
Who can help me....
