Help. 7650 Keypad Error...

Got home tonight and played around with phone for a short while. I was installing some appz. Just noticed now, when trying to write a text message, that my keypad will only input numbers. No text possible. I've played around with it will not let me change to text mode. the [abc] key is not recognised either..

Please help.......

Dude, i've had exactly the same problem 3 times before.. once it got solved by switching the phone off and then on, but i guess you've already treid that rite..?
So the only solution is to format your phone but make sure you back it up first....
Usually this problem is created by using WILDSKINZ..

I did install WILDSKINZ, then removed it. So that's it hey! Damn WILDSKINZ. Pity, it wasnt worth the trouble.

What prog would you recommend I use to format the phone, and what exactly do I backup?

i there! i had the same problem u just have to backup it with nokia suite, format the phone, then restore! i am not sure if thiis works but you can try either to del the system.ini file (i think this is the fine name) then switch off/on the phone, it will restore it error free! :) i just have to re-register some apps and games but don't need to format the phone... ;)

well if you wanna reformat your phone make sure you back it up, and make sure the battery is fully charged, and put the format code in.. or you can use systools from Psint...
