8210 Signal Prob

I had 2 dead 8210 ver 5.28 i then did the following

1. flashed phone with full flash for nokia 8210 v5.31

2.then flashed virgin eeprom for 8210 to address 3D0000

CONTACT SERVICE now displayed

3.Then connected M-bus and changed imei using Knock 22

Phone now boots but no signal

4.removed SP locks

5.then selected QUICK SET FAID in the Knock 22 Menu

One Phone know works Fine but the other

TURNS ON

GETS FULL SIGNAL BT CELLNET

LASTS 10 SEC's THEN FREEZES

RESTS WITH NO SIGNAL

Can anybody help either software downgrade or 8850 software or any other ideas

i would try to get a full flash and upload it again. if you get contact service after uploading i think that something has gone wrong ( maybe a bad flash file? )
here is what i would do

connect to flasher
open rolis 4.78
flash software MCU PPM to phone

now check if it says contact service or not
if it does then upload a veeprom
now if you do upload a veeprom flash the software again
(not nessesary but it sometimes helps)

now you should be at a stage where you have a phone which does not get contact service and has no signal

now connect it to mbus and turn phone on
open knok V22
set new imei
quick set faid
reset sp locks

if you have any more trouble you should try some different flash and veeprom files
