2 questions that need your professional help!

no1...i have some midi files on my phone. They seem to be read only, i have tried seleq and fexplorer with no luck in removing them....also nokia pc suite wont let me change/remove tem either....any ideas??

No1....how comes when people ring sometimes, my phone DOES NOT play the ring tone that i have asked it to????

Not really given us a lot of info there mate, but here's a starting point to try to help you.


1 - The mid files may be the built in ringtones from nokia, you can't remove them.. sorry

2 - This is a little more tricky to give the full answer, but you can set up different ringtones for different people and profiles. so depending what profile you are on you'll get a different ringtone. The ringtone for individual people overrides the one for the profile. Except where you've got the ringtone turned off i.e silent.

Thats about all I can say on the matter with the info you gave

maybe those files are realli not for u to remove...

i donno abt the file managers u have used, but i used epocware pc filemanager, and have been able to removed read-onli files without fail as it allows u to change if the file should be read-onli. u should give it a try

The Midi's that you're talking about are stored in the Z drive of the cellphone which is a read only drive (it's a ROM drive).. They cannot be removed...
