in MY opinion java games are generally a load of cack. They have shoddy game play which is the most important thing. However the graphics on 99% of the games are quit literally laughable. The sound is not even worth mentioning with the occassional bleep here and there. Dont get me wrong, there are a few games that i think are good and i love playing, like splinter cell, rayman 3, SWAT sniper, monte carlo,, puzzle bobble,

Now compared with symbian games, this is the way forward, so i think publishers need to focus on this far more than lame java files. yes its proabably more expensive and harder to program, but when you can produce graphics such as the ones in geopod or intersteller flames, and sounds like the ones out of warp fighter. All this aside, and back to the importance of gameplay, The symbian based games always feel much depper and engrossing than java files aswell.

just my opinion, but i have decided not to bother with java stuff from now.

any others?

Well i share the same views.. But i'll be a hypocrite if i say that JAVA games totally suck..lol... I've got a 7650 (yeah i'm one of those memory lackers)......lol.. N i've got a collection of java games aswell... I really like splinter cell.....But then i think that games like Moto3d and snails are much more awesome...lol
