s/w - switch. Ok...But what's h/w? There is no word limit here mate...You don't have to use shorthand. ;-) Be a little more specific...

@Vip3r
I was confused because he used the same shortform for both "switch" and "software". Thanks anyway...:)

This sounds like a battery problem, did you checked your battery? Is it fully charged?

Your mobile is automatically switched on after 30 seconds of switching off?? Strange problem...Show it to the Nokia Dealer, I don't think anybody here can help!!

battery connectors possibly, check them, see if contact between phone and battery is ok. Other thing i can think of is battery not sitting proplery. A wild shot but power button problem?

How can battery connectors can cause a phone to turn ON ? And why exactly after a specified time?

can get crap on the connectors which cause dodgy connections. It happend to my walkman, gave it a scraping with a scewdriver on the connections of the walkman and battery and it worked, same COULD apply to the phone, was a guess after all :p

The problem is software. I have had this problem, I accidently uploaded 1 single file to the "RECEIVED FILES" folder on my 7210 via Mobi software, and so I needed to buy 7210 cables and flash fresh 7210.fls, unfortunately loosing ALL my names/numbers AND Text Messages :((((((

You will need to do this too. If this is not the case, you have a serious hardware error (memory resident).

Take care,
Kris
