It is true, I dont know everything specially for ... moon habitats (location : moon)!! , but I know that FTPs are for sharing... clear and simple.

I do like to see people laugh , but you are too easy!!. I wonder what will happen if you get another post like mine about your ...FTP? How many "Whahaha" can you white in a single row?

want to have them too!? visit the forums and read the posts... don't have bullshit talk... for a long time i've been searching over for apps for the comm. and seen fake post's and persons... but on this 2 forums u'll bet that the others users give them the credtis they deserve!

I can understand why people say the FTP is useless though. As it is, there's just so much software on the FTP that it's very hard to get your hands on something that's not there yet, which is afaik the only way to get a download account.

I also understand why leazardking doesn't open up the FTP for everyone, since most users are only interested in leeching than contributing anyway.

What would be helpful if the website mentioning the requests would be updated more regularly. For example: I uploaded reefwar since it was listed on the website in the requests section and I almost instantly got a reply saying I shouldn't upload stuff already at the FTP. Not very encouraging.....

Hmmm, looks like I pissed you off. Rereading my last post, I'm guessing it must be soething I didn't say :D

Anyway, to be a little clearer: I'm perfectly happy with this forum and the 9210i site. I think it's a wonderful thing that so many 9210 and 9210i users try to help each other.

What I also said is that I understand why some people think the FTP is useless, since they don't have access to all the goodies that are on there and don't know the criteria are for getting a download account.

And although I also have no access to the FTP site yet, I'm very content with browsing the forums which helps me getting the most out of my 9210. And if I can help someone in the process, I'd be happy to do that as well.

I you still think apologies are in order: I most humbly grovel in the dirt begging your and everyone else's pardon for something I've said that might have upset someone ....

Everybody can have his own web site have access control, accounts, users and mailing lists, full control,but then nobody can call it FTP!!! see below

One more thing that is keeping NokiaFree at the top, is the quality of language used. Can you point where on this forum have you see so many Wahahahaha... no matter if someone is right or wrong.
Why leazerdking forum would be anything better than his language , by asking him a password you just boust his ego.

if you read the post on this forums you will see that the mods receive many letters from soft. deve. about the posts with the apps and cracks... so i think that the ftp server is a good idead to share them without bringing probs. to the forum!

man, to get wrong is human... so face it... you were wrong about leazerdking... no one is were to jugde others... but to share... it's true that on some posts you can find lamme talk and fake servers where the owners of them just want to have it all for them... but this is no the case man.

1. leazerdking forum IS NOT AN FTP.
I agree, Ftps servers are very usefull but this is not a real ftp , FTPs are open for sharing, you can download of upload, as you choose, no limits.

2. The lamme talk comes from such persons also. Just read who is using words like ... "stupid". Who is actually using personal insalts.

I have post more than 20 MB in this forum during last month, and I spend less than an hour every month here, I never set passwords or limits for what I offer. Leazerdking , I dont know you as a person but as a user, the personalyty that you present as leazerdking can improve!

about the ftp... of course the forum isn't the ftp... the ftp srever is just a way to share the soft... and you talk about up/downloading freely!?... so tell your def. of ftp to the all big companys who have ftp where only customers can access (paying for it) lol.
the only restriction that leazerd is imposing on the ftp is the one that for my opinion is the best against leachers! and that is you have to help all ppl and share...
one more thing to you... i'm not the one lossing from it man... you are...
to the rest of the ppl i recommend the forum where you can get access to those soft.

In my company we are also using an FTP for our database, You cant compare company FTP to Anonymous FTP. We are not here as company representatives but as simple users, nobody is talking about companies FTPs.

Anonymous FTPs are for sharing, is it better now?

I am one of those users that actualy supports soft developers. I actually buy(!!) the software that I use frequently. the rest I just dowload for fun. So the size of my database is much smaller than yours, probably because I just dont care about it. But I cant be "jealous and selfish" if I keep sharing??? I spend a lot more time uploading to forums and groups, than downloading ...

The restrictions that leazerdking is setting to his forum is something that HE SOULD MENTION AT THE VERY BEGINNING. Dont just cheat simple users and telling them that "i have 3,45 GB of Nokia 9210 (i) software on my FTP". Most leachers and hackers are actually making a fortune exactly the same way leazerdking is doing. We can only assume that he is not one of them.

This tread is getting very long , for no reason. my conclusion would be that we both agree that

1 .leazerdking is not linking to any FTP (anonymous)
2. You can actually make a lot of money if you have in your hands this much amound of software. Controling the distribution of it makes things even easier ( I know, I have been there!)

I would expect your conclousions also, just keep a high profile

I think Simsick is a little right. I noted your discussing these arguments for a long time. I want to tell my experience. I also visit the leazerdking forum. I tried many time and sent messengers for password to FTP following their rules. BUt I get nothing. So I do not this way is not very good way. Since you setup like this, you must reply us. If you do not want give us the password, also give us reason or reply. I think this is the best way. This is just my experience.

there are 2 ways to get your FTP acount you just nead one :
1- being a Junior member at my Forum ( 50 posts) but 50 good posts not just saying hi or thanx...
2- uploading some Nokia 9210 software to the FTP ( must be something that whe dont have...
and you will receve a passif you like it you are welcome if you dont just dont go there
but if you whant to say something about my FTP please dont say lies Like ..."This FTP is useless..."

The ftp or what they want to call is leazerdking land, this ftp has access rules who does not like does not eat.
I do not have access to the ftp, but i'm not here for put my self in leazerdking side to make pretty, Already i perceived that the access to the ftp is difficult, at least aparently difficult, and in this point i find that the SimSick has some reason.
and exists another thing, can be wrong, but in this forum it seems the ppl are diferent, almost become friends, while in yours, leazerdking, seem that the things are more artificial, seams that existes a restrict group and nothing more!!
Even though the leazerdking and suicide-frog help me when i ask for.

i´ve been criticized because i have a strict policy for file-sharing, and it was hard for users to get access to the FTP.but As many of you may have noticed, the FTP has been open for free download a few months ago...
With this i´ve tried to increase and motivate the 9210 community worldwide to share their software, and try to use the FTP as a common point for meeting and sharing.
Since i´ve "opened the doors" of the FTP, i´ve increased dramatically the number of users allowed to download from there, and i had the hope that this would make help this community spirit grow and increase sharing.
Well, this is NOT what happened!
All users used leech accounts and since i opened the FTP for everyone, the uploads decreased to a minimum NEVER registered before! This cannot continue.
Therefore, it was my decision to close the FTP to public and restrain it to old users that uploaded important stuff and/or contributed to the growth of this community.
From now on, the access to the FTP will only be granted to people who have something new to add to the FTP or to the Forum.

the 2 ways to get your FTP acount (you only nead one) :

OR
2- uploading some Nokia 9210 software to the FTP ( must be something that whe dont have...)

i remind once again that the my FTP is NOT public, and so it is subject of rules .but i welcome evryone that whants to help and/or share with others.

All of u people are so wrong about leazerdking,He own the ftp and he has the right to set the rules for y'all,The first time He built the ftp he post many invitation to many people on other forum announcing his ftp for soft download and I believe it was for all people,Like he said the reason he limited the people now is because so many people already access the ftp and then just dl anything they want and then dissappear without even say thanks or at least help post some news/discussion or help contributing to upload some apps/games.

People always want something the easy way,they just take something and then just walk away,but have u ever think what He (leazerdking) feels when He do all the job and hardwork so all of u can get apps for free and then only just a few people did say thanks to him and help to contribute something and I believe it's those people who still get the access to his ftp including me.

Some of u people should re-think about what ur gonna say and make sure it's true before u say something that might offend/hurt other people's feeling.
