DLR-2L 9210 cable is for use with PC Suite ,or as a FBUS Cable if activated in the Netmonitor Menu Nr. 31
I don't know what your universal box is for ,if it has a mbus funktion try to connect it with Logomanager then press F9 to read out the info of your phone such as the security code will be displayed there.
The standard security code is 12345 .
Try Nokia Tool to readout the security code.
The software has a interface auto setup for Cable you connect to.
Just set the Comport and press the bug.
If the cable work the it will find the phone to,if so then just press the read phone info button ,and security code will be displayed.
I hope it works ! ! ! !

Ok resolve the Sec code thing...
But now have other problem.
When I started it on PDA it gives me an error, about EUSER or something like this. So I took off the batt and put it again, and formatted it. but now just lights up... No PDA.
Once again I need help. Please...

then take your nokia to a Nokia Service Center
When your phone is not older as a 1 year then the servise will be free.
You can make Firmwareupgrade there.

My friend,
Sometimes after formating the PDA, the main software is not installed correctly, so if the SMS thing still persists i guess you will have to format it again...
Try to install the All application of Comm first, restart and then try the SMS thing and see will it work or not...

You should download UniBox service software (if you don't have in yet), reflash the phone with newest firmware (afaik, 4.14 for 9210), download phone and MMC software from Nokia site, install it. Voila! ;)

No, I tried it but no success...
But if I delete INI (Shift+Ctrl+I), the box where u write thr msg, now appear, but canīt send sms... always says "Failed"...
Oh and another thing, I canīt format Comm 100%... He donīt let me delete Mail/index, Data/Contacts.cdb and logdbu.dat.
Besides these 3 files I delete all Comm and MMC, and reinstall All_9210_Data and All_Memory_data_1510... but stills saying "Not Found" and I press "Write Message" on msg menu...
Thanks

9210 is DTC3 phone, so maybe you can flash it with many flashers available (i don't test them, sorry). Why can't you try? ;) If you can read them - you can flash it with box (technically). You should read the service manual to obtain infos about this. There may be a problem with power for flash to write into. In 9110 you have to short-circuit 1 and 4 pads under "Use only NOKIA specified battery" sticker (or so) to write flash. Not sure about 9210. RTFM. :)
